I’m Daniel Rich, a bookkeeper based in Dallas, Oregon.

I started this practice because I care about accounting being done right—and making sense to the people who rely on it. Too often, business owners are either buried in DIY bookkeeping or completely disconnected from their numbers. Neither helps you make good decisions or sleep well at night.

You should know what your business finances are doing, where the money is going. When the books are clean and consistent, the story becomes clear. And when the story is clear, decisions get easier.

Before starting this business, I worked in government accounting with multiple institutions and even spent a small season as a tax intern in college. What I learned is this: good bookkeeping is the foundation everything else depends. Taxes, lending, planning, and growth all work better when the underlying records are solid. That’s the part I focus on.

How I Help

I work with service professionals, blue-collar trades, and established small businesses that have outgrown DIY bookkeeping. Many of my clients come to me overwhelmed, confused, or unsure whether their numbers can be trusted. Clean-ups are welcome here.

I don’t give tax advice. Instead, I prepare your books so your tax professional can do their job efficiently and accurately. I provide clean records and a clear checklist your CPA or EA can rely on—no guessing, no scrambling.
